Please find below a few guidelines in order to create some consistency and clarity in relation to practice, policy and absences. School policy requires (before the commencement of lessons) in writing the times, drop off and collection method of each student. Please read, fill-in, sign and return this letter to your teacher to avoid any possible confusion in the future.

Absences
If a student is away a makeup lesson can be arranged, only if a minimum of 24 hours prior notification is given. For absences due to school activities (e.g. excursion, test, sport carnivals etc.) a minimum 2 days’ notice is required. Without this prior notification the lesson will be forfeited and you will be charged for the lesson.

Make up Lessons
Make-up lessons are lessons where a student arranges an alternate time to do their weekly lesson other than their usual allocated slot. Usually these lessons must take place in the same week at an alternate time slot or at another mutually convenient time. For school students there are 10 lessons per term and all make up lessons will be conducted during that term. 

Supervision
School policy dictates that parents inform Mojo of how and when they will drop off and pick up their child from lessons.  This is to ensure the safety of students while in the care of Mojo Guitar Teachers.
